Summer 2024 ACUE Opportunity

To support faculty in evidence-based practices for learner-centered course design, this summer CETAL will support up to 25 people to participate in a seven-week, online asynchronous course offered by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE). ACUE’s courses provide instruction on evidence-based teaching strategies, offer practical tools for implementing ideas, and include purposeful opportunities to reflect on your teaching.


Course Details:  Designing Learner-Centered and Equitable Courses

Summer 2024, CETAL will fund up to 24 participants to take the ACUE course Creating an Inclusive and Supportive Learning Environment . This seven-week, online asynchronous course runs from June 1, 2024 through July 29, 2024. While the course is asynchronous, each module has defined deadlines for completion.

Course competencies include

Course rosters are dependent on ACUE’s enrollment, so while it is likely that ECC participants will be in a section with other ECC employees, it is not guaranteed. Per ACUE, each module typically takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete.

Support Provided by CETAL

 

Faculty participants who complete the course will receive 16 CETL Workshop Clock Hours towards lane movement.
