CETL Online Teaching Toolkit

To support faculty in online and remote teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, CETL has created an Online Teaching Toolkit of resources. The Toolkit includes instructional pages and also synchronous online workshop that faculty can register for through Colleage, using the provided course codes. Resource topics include Recording Videos, Holding Online Office Hours, Online Instructional Design, and more. The section also includes forums for posting any questions you have and a forum for sharing your own tips and strategies with your colleagues.

Distance Learning D2L Support

Resources and tips for utilizing our learning management system, Desire2Learn (D2L), can be found on the Distance Learning office's D2L Tutorials Page and Brightspace's D2L Essentials Page. The Instructional Improvement & Distance Learning Team can be contacted for additional D2L support d2lhelpdesk@elgin.edu, and Brightspace can be contacted directly for D2L support by calling 1-877-325-7778.

In addition to suggestions for facilitating class remotely, the page includes a forum for posting any questions you have and a forum for sharing your own tips and strategies with your colleagues.
