How to Participate

1. To participate in the scavenger hunt, you must take a picture of each item on the list as you find it. 

2. To submit the picture, upload it to the social media app of your choice (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Tiktok), tag Elgin Community College using the @ symbol, and include #TeachECC2023. 

*If you do not have or feel comfortable posting on social media, you can submit pictures by emailing or sharing them with Heather Martin, Assistant Dean of CETAL, at hmartin7288@student.elgin.edu. 

Rules

1. Each item can only be used once to fulfill an entry.

2. All photos must be taken by the players (no screenshots, please!)

3. Any responses submitted before 8:00 am on Tuesday, February 21 or after 5:00 pm on Thursday, February 23 are ineligible.

4. Do not post pictures of anyone without their consent.

5. By participating in the scavenger hunt, you are agreeing to allow your submitted pictures to be used on the CETAL website.

Scavenger Hunt List

• Your favorite work space

• You and a coworker (or pet)

• A squirrel

• Your favorite mug

• Something you use to stay organized

• Hand sanitizer

• How many unread emails are in your inbox (extra point for whoever has the most)

• A book that’s important to you

• A desk toy or fidget you keep in your workspace

• A piece of art or a sculpture

• Your lunch

• Desktop wallpaper

• Anything from your college days 

• Something soft

• Something with wheels

• Something blue

•  Something that keeps you warm

• Coffee machine
